MAX Health Club

written on 2010-04-14

This health club had a very old Plone website which desperately needed to get up to date. The design makes use of a lot of CSS3 trickery (rotation, text-shadow, box-shadow, etc) but gracefully degrades through Modernizr.

Timelog

written on 2010-04-14

On Coursera I found the 'Human-Computer Interaction' course, given by a Stanford professor. The Timelog app is based on a linux program called gtimelog and uses Google App Engine (with Python 2.7) to implement a web based way to keep track of tasks over time.

Lithography workshop Obelisk (Paper stack)

written on 2010-04-14

Lithography workshop Obelisk needed to have an update of their web design. This design is based on the stacks of heavy weight paper lying about the workshop. A nice easter-egg / gimmick in this website is hovering over the site logo in a CSS animation ready browser.

OhMyDog!

written on 2010-04-14

The ladies of OhMyDog! dog training school wanted a blackboard feel and a surprised looking dog. I designed the website and the dog icon. This website makes use of Twitter Bootstrap, to get maximum results in the minimum time.

My own website has been one of the stable outputs of design and experimentation. I am starting here since I nearly have more designs for my site than actual blogposts.

Obelisk (First Website)

written on 2010-04-14

Lithography workshop Obelisk asked me to design a website based on their new logo. The website should hopefully disappear soon, since the new one has been up for about a year.

Educommons is an educational support framework to share lesson plans through the web. The challenge in this project was styling an existing framework within an existing house-style.
